Capilano Suspension Bridge Park ticket review
My verdict: this is the buy for anyone who can get themselves to 3735 Capilano Road. It is timed-entry admission and nothing more — no coach, no guide walking you round — which is exactly why it is the cheapest way in and the one I recommend most often. If you have no car and the free shuttle is not running on your dates, look at a combo tour instead, and if the gate price is the sticking point read the free alternative first.
What you are actually buying
One timed-entry ticket, valid for one day from the moment you first activate it, that covers everything inside the gates. That means the suspension bridge itself at 137 m long and 70 m above the Capilano River, the seven-bridge Treetops Adventure with platforms up to 33 m off the forest floor, the 213 m Cliffwalk cantilevered out over the canyon, the Living Forest exhibit, the Story Centre, Kia’palano and the totem poles, and Raptors Ridge when the birds are out between late May and September. Parking is included with this ticket, which matters more than it sounds: the park’s own meters otherwise run CAD $9.00 for three hours and take credit cards only. Same-day luggage storage is included as well, which is the detail that makes this ticket work for people flying out that evening.

Who this is not for
Three groups should not buy this ticket. First, anyone without a car who is travelling outside the free shuttle season — you will end up paying roughly CAD $25–30 each way for a rideshare on top, at which point a combo tour is better value. Second, wheelchair users: the bridge, Treetops Adventure and Cliffwalk are all inaccessible, and while the park gives complimentary admission to the accessible areas, that is a restaurant and a shop, not a day out. Third, and I mean this, anyone with a car and a tight budget who mainly wants to walk over a suspension bridge in a rainforest. Lynn Canyon does that for nothing.
Everyone else — families, first-timers, people who want Treetops and Cliffwalk and the interpretation on one ticket — this is the one.
