Privacy policy
Capilano Suspension Bridge Tickets collects as little as it can get away with. There is no account to create, no newsletter sign-up, and nothing on this site asks you for a name, an address or a card number.
What is collected
Anonymised analytics: which pages get read, roughly which country a visit came from, and which links get clicked. That is how I know the cost page matters more than anything else here. No profiles are built, nothing is sold, and there is no advertising network on the site.
Booking, GetYourGuide and cookies
The availability widgets and booking links are GetYourGuide’s. When you use one, you are dealing with GetYourGuide under their own privacy policy, and the details you enter — name, email, card — go to them, never to me. Their widgets may set a cookie so a booking is attributed to this site, which is the mechanism described on the affiliate disclosure page. Google Fonts are loaded from Google for the site’s typeface.
Your options
Block cookies in your browser settings and everything here still works, including the reviews and every guide page. The only thing that breaks is the booking attribution, which costs me and not you. Questions about your data, or a request to have something removed: contact me.
Frequently asked questions
Does this site sell my data?
No. Analytics are anonymised and aggregated, no profiles are built and there is no advertising network here. Payment details are never handled by this site — they go to GetYourGuide, as set out on the affiliate disclosure page.
What cookies does the site set?
The GetYourGuide widgets may set a cookie so that a booking is credited to this site. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading anything, including the tour reviews.
Where do I go with a data request?
Email me through the contact page. For anything about a booking you have already made, GetYourGuide holds those records, not this site.
